Be Dedicated to Your Dreams to Succeed
I would have to say that success doesn’t come easy. Let’s face it – it is a lot of work. But if you are dedicated to your dreams, you too can succeed in life.
Now, I am not trying to be somber, but it is the truth. For me, the road was seven years, with lots of challenges along the way. Though I am not at the point where I would finally like to be, I am getting really close. Each day I am getting closer to where I want to be and that is the right path for me.
One of my biggest challenges was to stick to my guns no matter what happened. Unfortunately, there was no magic formula that I could follow to succeed, and no recipe for success. I wanted to quit many times, but I couldn’t give up on my dream – I just didn’t want to retire when I was too old to enjoy life.
Though I failed many times, I was dedicated to succeeding. I had a vision of where I wanted to be in ten years that included the money I had, the car I was going to drive, and the amount of money that I had in my bank account. It was this concrete goal that I had in my minds’ eye that helped me to make choices each day that took me closer to my dream.
I had some challenges along the way. The biggest challenge of all was getting my wife to believe in the same dreams that I had. She couldn’t see how the business could be profitable as all she knew was that it was sucking money out of our bank account each month. She told me that I should just get a regular job just like everyone else.
Once you have the support of your spouse, things turn around. I was finally able to get her trust when I bought some food for our family from the profits of the business. It was this proof that helped her share my vision and increased my success immensely.
After that challenge was resolved, thing got easier. Though I wasn’t making the piles of money that I wanted, each month, the business was making more and more money, and I knew that I was on the path to success.
Finally, six months ago, I was able to leave my real job and focus on the business. I finally felt free and like my dreams were within my grasp. Thankfully, being dedicated to my goals allowed me to get to this point. If you would like to succeed in life, be sure to be dedicated to your dreams and your time will come.
